Torus7.0 is our latest release of the ET7.0 Export Trade System and GL5.0 General Ledger System. The architect as well as the implementation are based on current Windows technologies and infrastructures. This means that the software has great extensibility. It can cooperate with all modern computing software and hardware. Currently, the software has three components. The major one is desktop programs for heavy operations. A second part is Web-based, for easy access and light operations. The final component is for mobile devices like cellphones and tablets, for convenience and instantaneousness. Besides being deployable on on-premises systems, Torus 7.0 can also be deployed on Cloud, such as Microsoft's Azure and Amazon's AWS. Users use Remote Desktop Services or VPN to access, reducing immediate capital investment.
Desktops
After a few decades, desktop is still the most versatile, speedy and sophisticated platform in computing. Most programs of Torus 7.0 are for full-day jobs and require the robustness of such characteristics. They are also interoperable with Office programs. Data in the database can be exported to and imported from Excel worksheets. Some extension capability like bar code reading is available. For some operations in certain environments, scanning barcodes can be more efficient and easier.
It is a great advantage to use a single database for a company and its
branches. For remote users at branches, you can provide servers of Remote
Desktop Services so that they can access the central database, get and set the
latest data which are shareable by all employees. All data are subject to
control of security settings. People will just access what they are
allowed to access.

Internet Webs
ET7.0 data can be directly presented on the Web. For example, selected product items can become an online product catalog as soon as they are entered into ET7.0 Desktop. A Web-based Product Catalog can greatly help your sales effort. It is an indispensalbe institution in modern business operations.

Mobile Devices
Since mobile devices are used by almost any person, they are of course the easiest conduit for a company to communicate with its employees. To take an example, Torus 7.0 has a message function that is used internally among all users for anything. With a mobile device program, employees can get and respond to a message even when they are outside of office. Torus 7.0's mobile programs are Web-based. So no installation is needed. Clouds
Cloud is trendy these days. Though it still expensive and not very efficient, it is a legitimate alternative nowadays. Torus 7.0 can be installed on a cloud. All users, anywhere and anytime with a connection line, can log in the cloud and work on it. The operation is pretty much similar to an on-premises sytem with remote deskop services (previously terminal services). The major difference is that you do not have to worry about the hardware and systems. Without the drag of tedious maintenance, you can focus more in your applications and business.
